The “Psychosocial Processes in Health and Education” research line has the general objective of developing research aimed at understanding psychosocial processes in the fields of health and education. This includes theoretical and practical debates, as well as professional training and performance, with different populations, especially those in a situation of greater vulnerability. The line in question integrates two research axes, namely: (1) Critical Perspectives in Health and Education, which encompasses qualitative studies bolstered by theoretical and methodological perspectives of pronounced historical, social, and critical character, with a focus on health and education processes and their interface; and (2) Expanded Clinic, which unites diverse research concerning the theoretical and methodological foundations, with a shared characteristic of centering on issues pertinent to the expanded clinic in its interface with institutions and public policies.
