Objectives:

The Post-doctoral Program at PPGPSI-UFU has the following objectives:

  1. To promote research of scientific and technological excellence in the field of psychology, developed by holders of a Doctorate under the supervision of PPGPSI-UFU professors, and
  2. To collaborate with the qualification of undergraduate teaching at IP-UFU and graduate teaching at PPGPSI-UFU by carrying out activities in the form of lectures, conferences, classes in a subject, or similar.

Entry method:

Admission to the Post-doctoral Program at PPGPSI-UFU is continuous. The post-doctoral proposal must be submitted by the candidate's supervisor and will be analyzed by the PPGPSI Committee.

Organization:

The Post-doctoral course of the Graduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Uberlândia (PPGPSI-UFU) is organized into four lines of research:

  1. Cognitive Processes,
  2. Organizational Processes,
  3. Psychosocial Processes in Health and Education and
  4. Psychoanalysis and Culture.

Scholarships: The PPGPSI-UFU Post-doctoral Program does not offer scholarships and is voluntary. However, the postdoctoral fellow may apply for a scholarship directly to funding agencies.

Didactic system: Since the Post-doctorate is considered an advanced research internship, there are no subjects to be taken.

Minimum duration: 3 months
Maximum duration: 12 months
