The “Psychoanalysis and Culture” line of research responds to a growing demand from professionals in the humanities and psychology. The objective is to empower these professionals to generate new knowledge through research and to address contemporary challenges in the psychoanalytic clinic. These challenges include emerging psychopathologies with a neurotic and non-neurotic basis, as well as novel manifestations of suffering at institutional, social, and individual levels. It also seeks to develop research that proposes to respond to current problems that require analysis beyond the clinical setting. Consequently, this research line seeks to articulate psychological, social, and cultural phenomena.
